My main approach to the subject is through domination. I wanted to focus on this specific relationship of man with nature as we need to adknowledge the fact to adapt our behaviors in a context of irreversible environmental damages. The image also questions the extent of what we call nature. Does human intervention end the natural stage?
The intention was to display the interweaving of natural forces with man-made infrastructures in a poetic harmony, influenced by the work of photograph Toshio Shibata. If the dam is denaturalizing the environment, it also becomes part of it, creating a fascinating Artificial Landscape.
