Never stop exploring

I am an architect, designer, and digital artist. In my theoretical and practical work, I am considering our Universe as an infinite float of information arrays. Nothing is stable here. Nothing is forever.

I am studying generative methods of algorithm-aided design together with old-school traditional methods of form-finding by hand-drawing and the human brain`s calculations as well, trying to take the best of both. Here you can find the results of my explorations in the field of the fractal geometry of nature.

This picture is a part of my series «the Mandelbrot loneliness». This series — is experimentation with fractal graphics, a journey to the world of fractal formulas, and generative 3D graphics. It is a meditative process when digits become geometry. Countless numbers of formulas. Each formula is an infinite world — a separate planet with its own history, heroes, and events. Each fragment has boundless landscapes in the frame that tell the observer the entire history of an alien world. It remains only to paint the details.

Final touches, mood, color.

Time to add a character. I decided to place a single figure of a monk in the center to enhance the symmetry composition. This man is a symbol of ancient scientists, exploring this alien world.

The second stage. Post-process in Photoshop started. Adding atmosphere to this abandoned alien landscape.

In the first stage, I come up with procedurally generated landscape formations, that I found pretty interesting. This geometry was achieved with Mandelbulb 3D software.
