Mighty Desert

Hello!! For this challenge I wanted to represent one of the natural landscapes that I like the most, the desert. By definition we usually imagine that they are places absent from life, however that definition could not be further from reality.

Life manages to take over the most inhospitable places, and that is what I have wanted to represent in my work. This image is my vision of the relationship of man with the Earth.

The ruins, as we see in classical paintings, are the ideal setting to remind us of how ephemeral our passage on this planet is and how powerful nature is to recover what once was only hers.

This image is a representation of that relationship of man and his passage through this Earth, despite the drama of the scenario, we find an intrinsic beauty in all the devastation.

Which makes us wonder what is behind that man of the desert that despite adversity follows its path over the footsteps of its ancestors.

Inspiration images.

For the composition I have been based on the landscapes of North Africa, specifically the Saharan area of Morocco, of which I have beautiful memories.
