Hello CGMood Team, I just want to thank you for creating this challenge and I am glad to be able to participate.
With this image, I tried to convey metaphorically the feelings caused by this ongoing pandemic and to imagine the situation upside down from the natural realm perspective.


CONCEPT

In a pandemic sterilized world, natural species are almost entirely extinct and humanity has not been able to protect them. For centuries, we overlooked our environment and only when we lost everything, we realized that we could not live without it.
Nevertheless, humans discovered that nature has been capable of adapting once again; we found underground pockets, singularity in which some species kept fighting and barely surviving. Made aware from the trauma of loss, we created structures to protect and to study these anomalies, trying to revive the planet and to give a chance to future generations.
