Autumn Mood
Autumn color...
Well, the warm colors in autumn season are very important, but I had in mind an autumn scene without color.
It is not easy.
I studied photography before the digital era and I always liked black and white shots.
I founded a lot of photographic references on line and so I wanted to challenge myself and I tried to elaborate a black and white rendering.
It was fun, very fun.

3dsMax, Corona, GrowFx

The final black and white image.
I worked as normally with colored and realistic materials and using B&W LUT filter placed in Corona VFB Post menu.
The filter I used is "Adanmq_Ilford_Delta_400".
As in real photografy, the world is always colored and the film may be colored too or may be grayscaled.
I tried to follow this path... I hope you'll like it.

Some work-in-progress screen-shots.
The main softwares I used was 3dsMax and Corona Renderer.
I used "Grass Generator" (plugin created by The Mantissa) to generate grass patches that was scattered with Corona CScatter.
I used CScatter for dead leaves too.
The trees are from Maxtree. I edited two gfx trees with GrowFx (some little changes and foliage reduction) and then turned to editablemesh.
The sea (or lake... if you want) is a simple plane with "Render Multiplier" Scale set to 1000. This is to obtain a type of infinite plane.
The lighting is simple. One HDRI for environment/background and one CoronaSun set to 0.5 to cast shadow and bright up the scene.
