This is my raw render...a bit corona post of course...;) render time is more than 18 h, 4000x3000px, 300 corona passes. After final render I needed to fix some parts, because I did not like the grass, so I render weak parts again and finally I merge everything in Photoshop.

Another test render...I notice that i have too big holes in tree scatters and i don't like the peaky one mountain shape. Then I want to upgrade scale of a grass on the front and add green trees somewhere...So there is a lot to do and not much time!

This are my Trees materials. The bitmaps are less important because they are so small that you can't see them. The main map i corona MultiMap material that provides random hue and saturation and brightness of the colors by instance. Also important is Translucency and reflection but there is nothing special there, just simply settings. This is really awesome map. Next are my scatters. I have 14 of them! Finally maps for scatters.

I am using multiscatter for plants, grass and trees. I painted all masks in photoshop or made a mix with worldmachine map. I try to use splines to paint areas but that do not work well...

Another attempts to make this better. I setup some help geometry to have better view when painting scatter maps...

This are my first previews. For now I am trying to setup the lighting, colors, lut and other to have a base for future corrections.

Next I made light, camera, terrain, fog and scene setup. Second Image You can see a gizmos for fog. I used simple corona sun and environment for lightening the scene.

My next step was creating a trees. I use speedtree for that. I also adjust a bit the grass. I want to underline that all my models and textures are My, as i try to keep in mind the CC0 in the contest rules.

Next step, I created 3 types of grass. At first I model the grass, then make render and in next step use it for a texture. I know that we will see them form distance so I reduce details and mesh to flat surface. I made also simple materials for them.

I made mountains in WorldMachine great software ! I exported many different masks and then play with them in Photoshop to make scatter masks.
