The Taula table collection was inspired by the imposing monolithic structures of the same name found on the Mediterranean islands of Menorca and Mallorca. Designer Patricia Urquiola has reimagined their ancestral power and mysticism in a series of innovative dining tables that celebrate the tactile feel of natural stone.
The soft, sinuous shapes of marble and limestone are combined with an ingenious metal support system that creates a spinning top that appears to float above the feet. This optical illusion, the result of our team's careful study of form and perspective, challenges our usual perception of stone as a hard, heavy material that makes it appear unexpectedly light.

It is recommended to use OpenSubdiv.
