3ds Max 2016. V-Ray 5. File formats obj, fbx without wool. White Cowhide Rugs collection. The scene contains 18 objects: carpets and splines (hair_spline). If the hair is not to scale, then in the settings for hair and fur you need to open the scrolling tools and activate the “Recomb From Splines” inscription and specify spline_hair, and the hair will take the desired size. If everything is correct with the size, then you can delete hair_spline. Before rendering, go to the "Render - Effects" tab, click "Hair and Fur" and select the mr prim mode below. If you have any problems drawing fur, write to me. I will try to help you.
